JAM stands for Jack, Alina, and Matt. They are our inspiration to raise money for autism awareness and research.

To put it simply, we came together to form the Autism JAM Foundation, in collaboration with Autism Speaks, in an effort to raise funds for autism research and autism awareness across our community. The mission of Autism Speaks and the Autism JAM Foundation is for parents, professionals and scientists to form a bond and work collaboratively to find effective treatment and a cure for autism. We also hope to promote early identification of children with autism, to inform, educate and advocate everyone regarding intensive, developmental interventions for young children with autistic spectrum disorders.

Why we support Autism Speaks.

We recognize that there are many worthy organizations that raise autism awareness, fund research and support people with autism and their families. In our inaugural year of fundraising, we have chosen to support Autism Speaks® for several reasons. These include its record as the premier fundraising organization in the nation for autism research, and its extensive reach in terms of drawing attention to the incidence and impact of autism in this country. We realize every organization holds different views on issues such as the vaccine-autism link. We in Autism JAM respect each parent’s individual judgment on this issue and prefer to focus on uniting in the fight against this disorder.
